NYPD Prevents an Attack against Minister Elon 20:45 May 23, '04
(IsraelNN.com) New York City Police Department forces moved in quickly to prevent an attack by Arabs against Tourism Minister Benny Elon and his host, NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg, also a Jew. The two were attending the Salute to Israel Day Parade along 5th Avenue in the Big Apple.
I just checked the CNN and Fox News pages. Found nothing.
Wife, daughter and several others were in NYC last Friday, May 21, for Emmy Award program and noticed very heavy and unusual police action - visited Ground Zero and saw large numbers of police cars parked in the area - at the awards, police were extremely rude, pushy and impatient (even moreso than usual) - trying to get crowds to move on when there was no room to move, yelling at limos and buses to keep moving without being able to pick up passengers - at one point one cop grabbed wife and sister-and law by the arms and literally tried to shove them along to keep group moving - they were outraged, but we figured they must have had some sort of alert which had them all on edge - maybe related to this story..........
