I'm not sure it's fair to say he's disgraced himself, but he has chosen to enter the political sphere based on his military career. We wouldn't be discussing LtCol Zinni, retd, nor would he be involved in book or telecommunications deal. As a political animal, his actions are fair game, he can't wrap the flag around him. Interestingly he seem to have chosen a side where duplicity is accepted.
