CNN does something right every once in awhile. Sort of like a snow in south Texas, every 20 years or so.
"We should be cheering them and tuning in to help their ratings and prove our point."
Tuning in may be a little too much for me to do at this point, but I will definitely send them an e-mail of praise. After all my complaining ones, it's the least I can do. Don't animal trainers tell us that positive reinforcement is more effective than negative reinforcement?
I simply am unwilling to "give them another chance"...my belief is the ONLY reason they may offer a different perspective is for ratings=money. There is no principle involved- no sudden enlightenment leading them to present all sides of a story.
Jeez, the Chicken Noodle Network numbers are in worse shape then I thought!
I was channel surfing and they were showing Bush meeting with the amputees and shaking their new hands in the oval office. Kind of attracted my attention.
You're condescending to us because CNN devoted a monumental 15 minutes out of a 1440 minute news cycle to a legitimate story?
Bro how lost are you?
What's going on down there in Atlanta?
Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
I doubt Rush's show had anything to do with it. What moved the ball and got the story on CNN was that the amputees had a photo op with the President in the oval office. That makes it news.
What is your problem? I see thread after thread complaining about lack of coverage on the documentary and when it finally does gets some coverage I point it out and because it's CNN, Im now a lost soul. Geez, look in the mirror! You might not like what you see. :}
CNN is just plain amazing. I don't EVER watch it at home, but when I go to the gym, it is usually on. I was there during and after the President's speech, and again last night during prime time. The only people they had on the screen for commentary on Bush and Iraq were former Clintonites, Cohen, Albright, etc. Then, they had a Saudi on (who I'm sure wasn't there promoting US interests). The sound is off so I thankfully didn't have to listen, but it is simply amazing how one sided they are. They continue to be CNN - the Clinton News Network.
Fortunately, someone working at the club must be one of us, because Fox is always on too, and it is usually the channel on w/ sound in the locker room 3 out of 4 days, that or ESPN.
LOL! CNN has a long ways to go before they will ever be considered fair and balanced. That is why Fox has smoked them in the ratings.
?My problem?
Having some dumbass try to spin 15 minutes dedicated to a story out of a 1440 minute newscycle as something to be applauded.
?My problem?
Idiots who would bend over backwards to cut CNN any kind of slack or give them any kind of credit. Screw CNN! I dont care if they roll out a CNN sponsored Re-elect GW $Billion$ dollar ad campain. They made their bed years ago.
If nitwits'll leave them be, they'll [lie] in it while Fox crushes them.
Sorry I had no idea you were a dumbass. Glad you informed me, I might not have detected that!!
YOu dumbass mother, I wasnt praising CNN, I was surprised as you that the first time I saw the story covered on TV was by CNN. So take that and shove it where the sun dont shine, you fool. Dont bother me until your IQ reaches room temperature.
