Desperate people will resort to desperate measures. Democracy in Britain is a sham, the leftist government only see the people when they look down to see what it is they're stepping on. The big advantage of a non-violent protest like this is that the media and government have to take notice of it. Usually if its a protest that the liberal elites don't approve of then it wouldn't be reported by a mainstream media outlet and it certainly wouldn't be addressed by the arrogant left-wing government.

As for poor old Tony getting hit on the back by a johnny full of purple flour, apparently he didn't even feel it and he certainly wasn't in danger of being harmed by it. British politicians are more used to a bit of "aggro" than their US counterparts seemingly.

Justify it all you want, because it still doesn't wash with me. This group receives no sympathy for their cause from me because of their tactics. They remind me of children.
