"photographs depicting torture scenes were circulating in the international KFOR peacekeeping force and that German soldiers were allegedly involved." NOT NEWSWORTHY! Only news if it can be politicized and used against the POTUS.
Of course this report has been respectively is widely discussed in Germany, and I´m relieved to tell you that the German Defense Minister has criticized th BILD paper for this ridiculous report.
These "pictures" have not been sent to the Defense Ministry or to senior officers, and even the BILD acknowledges that it hasn´t seen them yet. Therefore, the Minister concludes, there´s no evidence that these "pictures" exist. He rather believes that someone tried to fool the BILD - Europeans most read daily newspaper.
I would be thankful if you stopped to claim things you cannot prove / to believe in unproven announcements. This is actually not FReeper-style, I guess. Regards from Germany,
Michael
Sorry.
back when rumors of the Abu Graib abuses started to circulate, no photographic evidence was made public, yet it turned out to have happened.
conversely, the British abuse photos turned out to be frauds.
thus, logic concludes that photographs are neither requisites nor in themsleves sufficient proofs of conduct non-becoming.
I already am: pale powder blue. it's the Scottish in me
Pardon, I am not criticizing FR. I´m criticizing FReepers who believe in simple allegations, without asking for evidence. Instead of saying "oh yes it´s all true" we should wait what comes out. Won´t you agree?
Good to hear this.
If you were to read the posts, not one Freeper made any allegation. I saw a lot of humor and parody. Not one accusation, other than Rumsfeld did it. We were waiting for our evidence.
I haven´t seen any FReeper doubting that these pics exist (which do not, from what we know now), and I want to be sure that nobody continues to believe in these allegations made by ONE FORMER SOLDIER (according to BILD), who first said that he has these photos, then said he knew someone who has them, and now says he once had them on his computer but deleted them. So, this "news story" is nothing but the trial of a crazy guy who wants to be important.
