What we need most of all is that most 'verboten' of practices -- profiling! Yes, racial/religious based profiling, targeting especially mid-eastern males from 18-50 and their anglo 'convert' brethren. I am afraid it will take more mega-death in America (courtesy of world wide Islamic jihad) before real immigration restrictions become politically acceptable.

Most Americans are reluctant to accept that we are in a real war, one produced in the ME, not Hollywood, with no opt-out. We can't just change the channel on this one, a reality yet to fully sink in with the American public.
