I'm not sure of the side of Jihad, but I know they're ordering their eggs sunni side up.

What would the jihadists do when they get to the Sloson cutoff?

It might have, now that you mention it. They might have asked if bacon bits were on the salad.

Had this exact experience (about bacon on green beans) with a couple of Muslim guys when I worked as a waiter years and years ago....

I knew some Muslim guys in graduate school. Friends of friends sort of thing. They were fastidious about pork, but loved to drink beer and watch porn. And Ramadan meant they didn't eat around each other.

First clue to Mac at Denny's: The two obnoxious patrons attempted to steal a couple of tablecloths.

Los Angeles has always been a target .. along with SF. I don't know why it wouldn't be logical to suspect the terrorists might be planning to have simultaneous attacks in several cities on the same day. The theory has been spoken about recently; I'm wondering if that idea is more than just a suspicion.

However, I will warn everybody .. if those terrorists don't kill themselves in the process .. I can see people being so angry they end up killing them on the spot. May GOD have mercy on us.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

Personally, I can't think of any more fitting way to deal with islamic terrorist scum.

I actually have very mixed feelings about it. Killing someone is not as easy as people think. Once you've crossed that line .. very difficult for life to return to normal.

I can understand the anger .. and it would certainly be justified. However .. I'm totally against vigilante justice .. I think it denies the rule of law - which is what America was built on.

To stomp on the guy and bust him in the chops would be fine with me; just let him survive. Send him to GITMO and let him spead the word that the American people will fight them in the street if needed.

Ok, but how do you ID a terrorist? I can very well imagine a bunch of idiot rednecks killing some Sikhs because they happen to be wearing turbans.

NAPLES, Florida (CNN) --The Georgia woman who prompted Friday's terror scare was "flat-out lying" when she told authorities she overheard three Muslim men at a restaurant laughing about September 11 and making suspicious comments, one of the men said late Friday.

Update on story

http://www.vaildaily.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20040528/NEWS/105280012

A man identified as Samuel Mac, who called himself a manager at Denny's in Avon, recently complained to the Denver Post that FBI agents seemed uninterested when he reported seeing two men who resembled the pictures of al-Qaida suspects.

SNIP

Police interviewed the two servers, who said the men told them they were from Iran and were driving to the West Coast, Leake said. One of the servers pointed Leake to two pictures that were published on the front of the Denver Rocky Mountain News Wednesday. The man interviewed by the Denver Post said the two men resembled suspects Adnan G. El Shukrijumah and Abderraouf Jdey.

But Mac hasn't worked for Denny's for some time, restaurant officials said.

"He did not work for us at the time this was being reported," said Richard Wozniak, vice president of operations for Denny's. "If he was in our restaurant, he was calling as an individual."

Wozniak said the Denny's in Avon does have records of someone named Sam working there, but no one with the last name of Mac. An employee reached at the Avon Denny's said only that the man no longer worked there. She declined to comment further or give her name.
