This is pretty startling. The Vatican has a pretty good feel on the whole anti-war thing, for them to say anything positive about the United States about Iraq is a sign that things are starting to turn around on the public relations side of things.
And a sign that the American Catholics...the ones who actually follow the rules faithfully, have been very much in support of the war at least around where I live. Those who are anti-war favor abortion rights, giving communion to open homosexuals etc.
