Text of President Bush's Radio Address - Salvation's FR thread
Aware of the costs of war...America always has gone to war reluctantly.
"Those who have paid those costs have given us every moment we live in freedom, and every living American is in their debt." - President George W. Bush
It must have been a colossal stomach turner for Bush Sr. to stand next to the draft dodging, pot smoking, womanizer, clintone.
Price of Freedom, bump
Thanks for the ping, Ragtime Cowgirl.
Guys keep your pants on. Frankly speaking I dont care so much about the heroic background of both Kerry and Bush. Whats the use of staying in the past? I prefer to look at our future perspectives. It makes more sense imo. I am to make the rightful choice for my future life will be connected with the man elected the president. So Id rather view both men in terms of their addressing some sore problem. Iraq suits well. Here we are having Kerry as a peacekeeper against war president Bush. Ye, we owe Bush that Iraqi war still dragging and making us all a bit nervous. But I am sure Bush will do his best to finish it up with Iraq to comfortably retire then. Bush is sick and tired of Iraq. Kerry is not. Being critical of the hawkish president hes dreaming about one or two more wars for America. Hes making us used to his audacious plans of leading wars in Iran and North Korea. God knows what else hes got in his mind. Anyway those hypothetical peacekeeping missions dont make me bursting with joy.
