Maybe our young folks are sick of the appeasement monkeys who would let terrorists kill us all.

As the parent of 2 young college students, I know that the level of 'indoctrination' to leftist causes in public school was so high it was blatant. The effect that had on many of the youth was that they'd do what they needed to in order to get the grade (they learned fast that disagreeing with the teacher had a negative impact on grades), but they didn't buy most of it.

How could they? Some of the stuff they are teaching our kids defies simple observation! The air is too dirty to breathe - but we go outside very day for recess. There will soon be no drinkable water - but no one I know has any trouble with water. Segregation was evil - but it's ok if it's the Young Black club, or the Hispanic Heritage club. The forests are almost gone - unless you drive ANYWHERE outside a metropolitan area and look around. It's only fair to hold everyone back till the slowest one in the class catches us - even if it means all but one are bored for weeks. Yada Yada Yada.

The kids are buying it because it's so blatant. They play the grade game, but once their diploma is in front of them they don't have to, and their parents don't have to be afraid to make their views known either.

Yes, the country is slowly becoming more Conservative. Certainly not as fast as we'd like, but it's going in the right direction, and our young people have become conservative much earlier than their boomer parents...

AMEN! Our daughter (when at the University of Missouri-Columbia) received a grade of "C" from her "Western Civilization" teacher. She was required to write about an article from "Mother Jones" and evidently her "take" on the article was not what the teacher wanted to hear. The teacher actually WROTE on her essay "This is not good thinking".

I told both of my kids, play the game, and get out with your sheepskin, and then you can think on your own. Our colleges and universities are a sham. One could get a better education if they just read books on their own, and not have to be brainwashed by a bunch of hippies.

The books they're required to read are drivel. I went to a Lutheran private college my first year, and the Religion teacher was a Catholic priest, and he told us that all the stories in the Bible were myths.
