Student Charged With Murdering British Literary Agent The Associated Press
LONDON (AP) - Authorities have charged a student with murdering the prominent British literary agent Rod Hall, whose clients included the writers of films such as "Calendar Girls," "The Full Monty" and "Billy Elliot," police said Sunday. Hall, 53, was found dead in his southeast London home on May 23 after a friend reported him missing. An autopsy revealed the cause of death to be multiple stab wounds to the chest and abdomen.
Usman Durrani, 20, a student from east London, was charged late Saturday with his murder and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, police said. They did not say what the motive was believed to be.
Among Hall's clients were the acclaimed Anglo-Irish writer Martin McDonagh, whose latest play, "The Pillowman," opens on Broadway in the fall; Juliette Towhidi, co-writer of the film "Calendar Girls"; and Lee Hall, who got an Oscar nomination for writing the film "Billy Elliot."
This student wasn't a student of islam, was he? Surely not.
Usman Durrani, 20, a student from east London,
Dunno, his name doesn't exactly sound British unless he's a product of "diversity" in which case he probably is Muslim.
I know you meant that sarcastically. I am sure they did not forget at all, they left it out intentionally. If he had been a Christian, it would have made world news.
They don't need to. Hall is a life-long homosexual (active in all senses of the word). He was stabbed repeatedly by a young man in an obvious act of rage. I'd say the "motive" is as obvious as it is common in that circle.
Durrani is the name of a dynasty that once ruled Afghanistan. Usman is a common name throughout islam.
Besides, if the guy murdered was white, he was obviously oppressing an always perfectly correct person of color. </sarcasm>
Damn the Irish. /sarcasm
Him ? A homosexual? My goodness!!
At least the Brit press tells us his name ( obviously of Islmaic variety). The American press always leaves it out if there is even a hint
