"I guess for Kobe eyeing little girls in satin panties can be habit forming."

I'm not going to go there, and either should you!

The only good thing is I do not have to listen to the back bitting pantie wearing (YES) announcer on TNT.

And, here's hoping you get a different officiating crew, lest your starting lineup end up in the hospital by game 3.

I take it that the referees are still letting Shaq get away with flagrantly knocking defenders out of the way as he lumbers to the basket for dunk after dunk.

Back in the days when 'shorts' were just that. .....not sweat pants cut in half.

My mother has photos of when she played high school basketball back in the 1950's and the basketball shorts that the girls wore back then look almost exactly like the shorts the NBA players wear nowadays. I really wish the NBA would go back to having the players wear men's basketball shorts.

Radio sports show today had the story about the referee Ed Rush calling a 5th foul on Shaq with 8+ minutes to go in the last game, then heading over to the scorer's table and asking, "How many fouls is that on Shaq?"

Shaq never had another foul called on him that game. So much for the NBA lie about the 'integrity' of the game. It is a total joke, no different than TV wrestling. The games aren't fixed, but close enough, with the NBA doing its best to direct the outcome of series. What a fraud. If they can investigate quiz shows, perhaps they should investigate David Stern, the NBA, and who connected with the league is betting on these games.

Rot in hell, NBA.

Shaq can score 40 a game if they throw it in to him, he will posterize Eldon Campbell.

Yeah, I know. It's still a funny quote, though.

If the question is which city will destroy itself the most after a victory, I'm going for Detroit.

Of course we all know the Lakers are going to win. The NBA has had this thing rigged since the start of the playoffs.

I guess here in HockeyTown USA we can be a little sensitive!
(Not the basketball part, LOL).

Of course, the best basketball quote of all time is from former North Carolina State center Charles Shackleford, who uttered this gem for the ages:

"Left hand, right hand, it doesn't matter . . . I'm amphibious."

LOL.

No surprise there.

This is one reason why I like the National Hockey League. The last couple of years have seen such miserable matchups in the Stanley Cup Finals in terms of television ratings and overall fan appeal -- you know the league can't possibly be monkeying around with the outcomes of these games.
