"Hey, I see today that Kerry met with Chalabi in London several years ago (according to Kerry, a suspect source) and he decided not to back him (according, again, to Kerry) and he "regrets that the administration did back him, leading to an intelligence leak."
FOFLOL. What a complete and utter phoney he is. Oh, yeah, Kerry had been onto Chalabi for years. That would have been when Clinton was still in office, Saddam was still firmly in power and Chalabi was just another Iraqi exile with no chips to play. Riiiight.

Yes, I remember that. It was the first time I can ever recall that our press went after a sitting President while he was out of the country.

That he is used as a representative from the right on CNN is a joke. I don't know how he is registered .. but the above you mentioned has been known for some time

the linkages to be made between Saddam and OBL. Support for the war will increase tenfold. If so, then imagine what will happen when Saddam admits to those links himself while on trial, in exchange for his life.

What happened last time was that the American media was so in an uproar over their new "scandal" when President Bush went to Africa that they barely covered his trip on American TV. I'm for anything that causes less news coverage of African trips by Bush Administration personnel:

That's just cutting it too close, PD. That trial hasn't even started yet and the election is in 5 mos.
O'Reilly just had Steve Hayes on who has written a book about this matter and O'Reilly has promised to have breaking information on the links between Saddam and OBL tomorrow.
I never watch Bill Blabbermouth but tonight, while playing backgammon, I had him on and will be sure to tune in tomorrow.

This was Breathless Dan's lead story on CBS non-news tonight. Spent a lot of time trying to make last year's news make us think the sky is falling. Didn't bother giving more than a brief mention of Pres. Bush's fine speech today, with the spin that the Pres. compared Iraq to WWII (Gasp! What will Chiraq think?). It seemed that everything on the alphabets tonight was warmed-over former quasi news.

Nixon was a criminal. I'm curious. What crime, precisely, did he commit?

Peach, Saddam does not even want to see Iraq soil again. He will cut a deal admitting to everything for a nice prison cell in France instead. If he ever goes home, his life-expectancy is shorter than the belly-hair on a rat.

Of course, ABC leads off the hour with this story but even by their reporting you can tell there's not much to it.This seems as good a place as any to note that Tom Brokaw (first time I watched him in years--had our reasons and I won't be repeating it anytime soon) highlighted Michael Moore's movie and actually played clips of the thing. This was presented as "news".
To: Pukin Dog
I hope he doesn't get a prison cell anywhere, even France where the body odor alone would be could kill a pig.
I hope he gets hung in the town square of Baghdad.

If so, then imagine what will happen when Saddam admits to those links himself while on trial, in exchange for his life. But then it'll be reported that Saddam admitted to it under stress and thus should not be believed.

You just reminded me. That "scandal" was none other than the NY Times publishing Wilson's op-ed, hence the birth of the "yellowcake" brouhaha.
This is yet another attempt to beat the dead horse. Good catch.
