"It's one thing to support the president but an entirely different matter to have a Bush bumper sticker on your car." And so it began

Right On and BUMP!
It used to be that people would NEVER discuss religion or politics in polite company. How far this nation has fallen.
"Their elementary school newspaper carried an informal poll of well-informed students (K through 5) which listed reasons to love John Kerry and hate George Bush." If true, that is deeply disturbing and should be legally actionable! The liberal pukes are poisoning the minds of our children, I grant you, but this is just too blatant to let it stand without public outrage. Had this happened in my son's school, I would have raise a stink even a truckload of Glade couldn't squelch.
Oh how I pray for that landslide, to get my nation back! I am growing to detest the democrat party for its defense of the truly indefensible, knowing they defend infanticide only to get votes. Now, with the goreghoul meltdown, the Pelosi hatemongering, and the Ayatollah Teddy rants on the Senate floor, it is clear that the death of many more Americans is part of the democrat's plan to regain control over this nation. I mean, a political party that would openly defend as a 'Constitutional right' the hiring of a serial killer to slaughter alive sensing unborn children, in order to get feminists and women who've sadly had abortions to vote the democrat party, is a political party fallen into the service of evil for their own empowerment. Only massive rejection of their agenda via the ballot box will change their service to evil, if it can be changed! Personally, I have watched the democrat party leadership so long now, I'm convinced they're a total loss to humanity, alien in an evil way even they do not recognize at this late stage of their disease.
Sounds like you're surrounded.
Just remember, when you're under heavy fire and looking for kindred spirits, the secret saying:
"And the hawk flies low"
Repeat this three times.
When the rest of us hear you, we'll come running.
When I find myself in a herd of sheep, I just sit, smile, and nod my head. You can't talk to those people.
This is getting more and more evident the closer we get to the election.
Ditto that. It isn't easy to hold your tongue when some clod beside you is sneering every insult in his vocabulary against conservatism, but it's worth it. Engaging them is absolutely pointless, it just makes them shout.
I would leave a bright light of truth turned on 24/7. Keep the computer tuned to FreeRepublic. I have heard global dimming causes liberalism.
Boy, you're not kidding. Best I could do with my youngest kid was to get him ticked enough, he says he's not gonna vote. (He's at that age where he knows everything)
I remember a comment from a short-term resident in this part of the country (The Pacific Northwest) that where she came from politics was the subject of discussion in polite company. Done politely, of course, and with polite room for disagreement -- and not definitely with the sneering hatred the Left now slaps on anything they dislike.
If civil discourse is now dead in this country, I know who is to blame.
Liberalism/Socialism is political AIDS of the brain. There are a lot of sick puppies clustered in the DemoRat party.
liberalism as a desease - recently on some news show, i can't remember which, i heard that (according to a poll done yearly over the last 15 years,) liberals describe themselves as more depressed than conservatives. that is definitely the case with all the people i've ever known. if liberals drag this country down the drain, people will get more depressed, it could be like a feedback loop, the u.s. might end up a liberal and depressed country.
maybe that's why so many liberals want to legalize drugs? to be liberal and stoned instead of depressed?
