First full day of testimony in Laci Peterson murder case

which is why I reference him

He is horrid.
And for being in this country
for so long, he needs to lose
the damn accent and sloppy speech.

I may be on the wrong thread here. Having read all posts up to yours so far and it seems like everyone here thinks that a trial is really unneccessary - Peterson is guilty. Prior to Ambers appearance, even Laci's family thought Scott was innocent.

I am the parent of four children, one died in a swimming accident, so I know what it's like to lose a child.

My point is I trully don't know what would cause me greater emotional pain; for my child to die or for my child to be tried for murder, pain if he were guilty, more pain I think if I thought he were innocent.

Then Scott Peterson should think about telling the truth; he had a chance to do that the first day of her disappearance and he never, ever talked to the police.

If there is pain for his family, he has brought it to them.

fortunately his accent is so bad that he is really hard to listen to.

The problem I have with Lee is that I feel quite certain it is all part of the show, his accent, the befuddled smile that is perennially on his face, etc. He knows exactly what he is doing, can speak perfectly clearly when he needs to, but his English becomes muddled when it suits him. He always gets his one liners in:"You all look alike to me".

He is easily bought and paid for, and loves the camera.

Pain would be my state, too. BUT I assure you, laughing, punching each other when police mistakes are brought up, rolling eyes, and just general ridiculous white trash behavior in a courtroom would NOT be my state. They have no mercy from me.

I'm glad someone else heard DA say that too! Actually I thought it must have been a dream. He can't be talking about the same JP we see here. I don't think he was being facetious, unfortunately. He must have very bad judgment about people to say something like that.

Yes, most of us believe SP is guilty,
but his attorney, Mark Geragos, has promised
to show us the REAL killer, so we are content
to follow the trial on a daily basis awaiting
the identity of Laci and Conner's murderer(s).
