The first Menendez jury, where they hung up, didn't exactly warm hearts!
Alas, the poor orphans ran out of money for the retrial... and the court wouldn't allow Leslie Abramson to withdraw (though she wanted to, having helped use up all their money) and... they finally got what they deserved.
... and, in fairness to California, the jury that finally did convict the Menendez murderers was ALSO a California jury!
