And as we all know the jobs report and the unemployment rate are LAGGING INDICATORS!

Most analysts expected 250,000 with the "whispered number" at 350,000. The markets will be down today because these will be "disappointing numbers". WASHINGTON - The Labor Department (news - web sites) releases its May report on jobless claims this morning at 8:30 a.m. EDT. Economists are looking for an increase of 215,000 in nonfarm payrolls and for the jobless rate to hold at 5.6 percent.

Dow futures already up 70.

Great news. Kerry and the liberals are pulling of their hair.
A great Bush 30 seconds ad:
Show John Kerry and Ted Kennedy saying that it is a jobless recovery than show the job added in the last three months, mentioning the numbers in each month with some great background music.

Every sector up but government which is down 27K. Cannot ask for anything better. Even a substantial recovery in MFG. Tax revenues are starting to rise for the states. Kudlow calling for 15-20 percent rally in the stock market this summer. To top it all off gas at my local station was 1.85 last night down 10 cents from a week ago. Man, this is GREAT! It just doesn't get any better than this.
I'm going out to look for the WMD now. The way things are going, I'll probably find 'em.
