Time for Bush to start touting this recovery. He owns this issue and needs to talk to the American people about how his tax cuts have made this possible. Oh, he will. It's too early yet. He's very clever and he knows that timing is everything. Give it another six weeks or so and he'll start slipping it in there.

Every sector up but government which is down 27K. Cannot ask for anything better. Even a substantial recovery in MFG. Tax revenues are starting to rise for the states. Kudlow calling for 15-20 percent rally in the stock market this summer. To top it all off gas at my local station was 1.85 last night down 10 cents from a week ago.

Don't know if I agree. A large number of people polled something like 1/3, think we are in a RECESSION. They have been endlessly bombarded with negative news ( or shall we say "Pravda") about the economy. It's going to take a while to reverse that. The Rats and the press are masters at this. I remember when Bush 1 lost, the DAY AFTER the election the press made the first mention that the resession had ended in MAY. And Clinton got all the credit for the recovery. Goebbels would be proud.
