I have built a website with articles from mainstream sources exposing the truth on Kerry, information that is being little reported in by the news media. Indeed, much of what I found on Kerry were articles from last fall and early this year before the media lined up solidly behind Kerry. Such reporting has become extremely difficult to find in the last month or two as the media is thoroughly marshalling its resources almost entirely behind Kerry.
The articles exposing Kerry that I have managed to find paint a portrait of Kerry that is none too flattering, in contrast to the exclusively fawning coverage of Kerry in the U.S. media of late which has endowed him with statesmanship and war hero status he's not earned. Spread this information around to others so we can get the truth out on Kerry.
Check the archives for all the past articles on Kerry I posted. I will update the homepage with a new article or two every Thursday. Share the link with others so as many people as possible will be exposed to this information on Kerry.
We have to do the media's job for them because they are reporting little or nothing of a negative nature on Kerry, while playing up every negative piece of economic or Iraq war news to try to bring down Bush, while of course ignoring the positive news about both topics.

Sorry to be hard on you, but if you're serious, why not spend $10/mo. or so and get a real host for your efforts? Free web hosting always comes with a bunch of pop-ups, making the site annoying to visit.
Google "web hosting," and you'll find lots of inexpensive hosting servers who won't make your site look amateurish.
Don't bother
I have no control over the pop-ups. It's a free web service and they are the ones who put those things on. I get nothing from it if that's what you're implying. Sorry about the pop-up. I get annoyed by them too. But you are allowing a pop up to keep you from looking at material you might have missed on Kerry. This is going to be an awfully close election and the side doing the best job of getting the truth out on their opponent will be the one to win. It's no time to get hung up on a pop-up. No need to be rude. We're all on the same team here.
I apologize for the pop-up, but don't let it stop you from looking at the valuable information that's there. And my sight is amateurish. I'm not a professional. I'm just an average guy trying to get the word out on Kerry. Sheesh, I'm suddenly sorry I even bothered sharing this with everyone. Asthetics were not the point. The information the site reveals about Kerry is. I did the best I could folks. I'm not trying to sell cars with it, I'm just trying to get out the truth, something the mainstream media has all but given up on.

For some reason, though, popups have been getting past my google toolbar lately, and that's been annoying.
Thanks Larry. I actually haven't had a problem with pop ups on my site before. I must have a good pop up blocker I wasn't aware of with my webservice.
I applaud you. Most intelligent folks have a pop blocker installed on their computer already. Free web hosting is better than nothing at all! Wish I had the time to something like this...Thanks again!

You're trying to sell something that's harder to sell than cars...information. That's the hardest sell of all. All the more reason to make your site as easy to use as possible.
The popups are easy to get rid of. Just pay for hosting. Free servers are notorious for nasty popups that even get past pop-up blockers.
I'm sure your motivations are excellent, but if something's worth doing, it's worth doing right. Right here on Free Republic, there's a storehouse of information about Kerry. Think about it. You'd be better off telling the people who might visit your site to come to Free Republic, where they can discuss issues, rather than just read stories about them.
Don't be discouraged. Just invest a little in your effort and get rid of the things that will annoy any visitors you might get. Spend a buck or two. Isn't what you're doing worth $10/mo. or so?
Thank you. Check back with my site weekly. I'll update it as best I can. Unfortunately much of the media is keeping the negative on Kerry, and there is no lack of that, as under wraps as possible. But I'll do my best to find it. Unfortunately when I lost my AOL account, I lost my filing cabinent which had a lot of great Kerry stuff in it. Oh well...

It's not the money that is a problem, it's that I spent probably 10-12 hours developing this website, though to you it might not appear so, and don't really want to spend another 10-12 hours reinventing the wheel. Frankly the time I spent was more than I could afford to do with my schedule, but I did it anyway.
I agree with you that anything worth doing is worth doing right. I disagree with you that I have not done it right. I think the site serves its purpose and for the most part looks good. No matter how much money or effort I spend, I'm sure there will be someone to take issue with it. In the end people will either want the information it contains and look beyond its flaws or they won't no matter how refined the presentation.
I came here because of people like you. Bookmarked and link emailed to family and friends.
There's nothing wrong with using a free hoster. It's only a problem for those who are too lazy to download and install FREE Panicware.
