I am rather surprised by the LAPD guy you had the problem with however, as usually the Police are NOT on the side of this communist front group of anarchists. Must have been a rare one.
I so admire your courage and willingness to stand up to these very dangerous thugs, as some of them are very prone to violence as you noted.
I believe in free speech, but it not something those of us who are not liberal socialist NAZI democrat communists have little of these days.

As was I. I don't want it to appear that all of the L.A.P.D. was similarly unreasonable, to the contrary. I was given many smiles and thumbs up from many of them, as well as L.A.F.D...May God bless them all, including the misguided officer who was instrumental in silencing my rights.

I had a ford explorer squeeze me out the other day as I drove a heavy truck on the 405 in W.L.A.
As the rear comes into view I see a huge banner "war is Not the A.N.S.W.E.R." and "defeat Bush,vote"
So traffic is stop and go and the car is next to my truck window down, I yell "answer is not the answer" "damn commies" or words to that effect and some other good stuff , no cussing though

The left has the ability to get thousands of people to a protest for a variety of reasons, just as the right's ability to get people to a protest is limited for a variety of reasons. The goons of the left can be brutal and violent, and some of them think nothing of smacking someone in the mouth with a club. Violence is in their blood, and it goes back a hundred years to the formation of the Communist Party in the Soviet Union.
Anyway, you know all this. The reason I urge caution is that if the police get it wrong, and document it, it still becomes a public document accessible to attorneys in criminal trials, as well as civil trials. While the truth can eventually come out, it takes a while, and there are interviews and depositions galore in some cases before a case ever gets to court, and before the truth can ever be proved. Always use caution, and document Freeps via video camera if possible. In a modern comparison, I would compare FreePers against the left as Hobbits against Orcs.

What was great was watching Jackie Goldberg squirm and the stage full of intentional deceivers look at me with pure evil in their eyes. How dare I! Every time she took a breath I called her what she was, a "liar." You could see her take it in and attempt to stay on message, but she was obviously shaken...lol...Love it.
I am 90% sure that the guy on the stage, with the white cap and jeans, between Danny Glover and the black woman, is the guy who assaulted me...Interesting.
A FReeper found us and hung out with us during the rally. He brought a bullhorn and started saying "Liar" whenever there was a pause in a speech. It wasn't loud at all, but it was loud enought for the National Lawyers Guild to start gatering around. Eventually, the head goon of the NLG told the FReeper that he was distracting the rally and that he had to leave. The FReeper refused and the head goon decided to resort to robbery. He tried to take the bullhorn and the result was a small tugging match. The cops came in a short bit later and broke up the fight. No arrests were made and the FReeper was successful in defending his bullhorn. Us PWers were entered as witnesses.
