WORLD FRONT PAGES

A great website with the front pages of most American and some World newspapers. Most do a good job of paying respects to Reagan, except of course the NY Times. Compare their front page to the NY Daily News...

Look at "Times" story at top left.

It shoud read:

"It's New York Times Leading. It's Times....Never Mind."

The New York Times is despicable.Even on a day like this, the death of a great and poular President, the best they can do is to place the article on President reagan in such a way as to imply that the news of his death is of no more consequence than a horse race-and they make sure to give equal time to Kerry and the prison scandal(yet AGAIN). I believe that if another large-scale terrorist attck such as the 9/11 one occurred, they would still find a way to tie the so-called prison scandal into it,and consider it of supreme importance to print how Kerry thinks it's all President Bush's fault, and how it relates to the way that Kerry would have handled it better(though he never syas how,he just says that whatever President Bush did,it was the wrong thing to do). They have NO shame,no credibility, and no journalistic integrity. I don't think they care either,as long as they can decry President Bush,no matter how blatantly partisan they go about it. I wish some conservative respected reporter could spend some time getting some valid dirt on them so thay could be discredited once and for all,and if not be shut down,at least be shown for the stridently tabloid rag they really are.

Wow. Your thread with all of the newspapers on it is impressive. [I think your warning was understated just a tad.] I hate to close that window.

They (NYT) are still running prison abuse stories on the front page. What is it, 40 days now?

Mods pulled my thread which has all the graphics and linked to this thread.

If you want to keep the graphics, do a SAVE AS before you close the window for the other thread.

Three days ago, PBS was still humping the "prison abuse" story on their nightly news. Pathetic....

What's amazing is they managed to get another Abu Ghraib story in there!! Sheesh.
Even the LA Times devoted the entire above-the-fold to Reagan and the subtitles read: "Popular President Changed the Political Landscape" and "A Cold War Hawk Who Set the Stage for Peace".

Hannity asked one dem commentator last week, "how much new stuff has come with all the published articles (NYT) in the last 10 days?"

The dem commentator said, "None." Even the commentator couldn't defend the ad-nausem publishing of Iraqi prison stories. NYT is beating the dead horse and making themselves look very agenda-ized and silly.

Just another great example of the "give 'em enough rope" function of our
First Amendment.

Idiots, radical ideologues, and the dangerous never become a big domestic
problem because you can spot them by what they say (or don't say).
