Newt Gingrich on Fox News said it best when he said that the Reagan legacy lives on in George W. Bush.I am in total agreement with that. They both seem to embody an ideal that went out of fashion with Westerns. Strength....Character...
Sadly they make very few men like that these days.

Thanks, Old-ager. : )
I think Premier dropped him about 6 months ago.
Dog-eat-dog business now with all the stations saving $$$$ using one of 3 basic packages. Wal-Martization of talk-radio, I guess. lol

I'd think since his dad and the Bush's were all friends, he would be supportive. I can't think of who it was that I saw who was so UNsupportive. It just struck me that that person (whoever it was)would not support GWB. THanks for the info.

I remember hearing Ron, Jr. doesn't support Pres. Bush (not surprising), but I've never heard that said about Michael.

Maybe THAT is who it was--Ron Jr.

I'm fairly confident that Mike Reagan still has a radio show. I can recall hearing his program one night about a year or so ago.
Late one evening while driving home from a friend's, my radio was still on the AM station where I listen to Rush. I was driving out in the country so reception was weak - the radio quality was quite haunting. There were no street lights and a heavy fog slowed my driving considerably. Mike was relaying a story about American women who were courted by and eventually married Middle Eastern men. These men's motives were quite suspect and not revealed until after the weddings. They ruled every aspect of their wives' lives (and assets) while attaining a cover for covert activities. I don't recall the specifics, but he relayed actual cases and told of some pretty horrible experiences. The portion of the program I heard that evening truly frightened me. He, like President Reagan, is an excellent communicator as well.
