He should have excluded the Brits. Margaret Thatcher was a soul-mate of his as British PM, and Blair has been a staunch ally to GW and the US against Saddam and the terrorists.

Nice -- just the sort of nastiness that Reagan would have loved.

Yes, he'd have called a first lady "Hitlery." Right.

When you do and say such things you are maligning him worse than any liberal could.

The more you know the more you realize, history does repeat. The Euro-twits were wrong then, they are wrong now.

And NO LIBERAL was talking about how the Soviet Union was "collapsing on its own" beore Reagan. The media and elites were loudly proclaiming how we had to "exist" with them and that the Communists were also a world power... Thank you President Reagan for your strength and determination in the face of naysayers.

Yes, indeed. Ron was a war-mongering cowboy, GW is a war-mongering cowboy. Ron didn't understand (the nuances of cowardice), GW doesn't understand them, either.

Ya know....I just got done reading your vanity post and diatribe about how disgusted you are with FR. Now, I come to this thread, and here you are again, lecturing people. If you no longer like it here, just leave.

I have been listening to Air America today to hear their moourning sounds. They say over and over again that RR really wasn't as great as everyone says he was. Then they trash him for a while and say it again. RR has truly reached a status peak when the libs who, just a few years ago were so sure that he would go down in history just behind Nixon, have to say, "well he wasn't all that great, no matter what they say."

The point that Laura Ingraham made on her show this morning is that libs still don't get it. They've yet to grasp that Reagan represented the average American in aspirations and outlook far more than the "sophisticated" "nuanced" lib elites who looked down their noses at Reagan and what he stood for. Basically they were looking down their noses at America. They don't get Reagan now, and they never will.

"Nuanced" means that you can say what you want for the moment but when the situation is found to have been different, well what you said actually means something different so one is always right, no matter what.
