SIMI VALLEY, Calif. (AP) -- Waiting good-naturedly for as much as half a day in traffic jams and a parking lot, tens of thousands of people filed past Ronald Reagan's flag-draped casket in an outpouring that forced organizers to extend yesterday's viewing period by four hours.

What a wonderful outpouring of love for President Reagan. I am so thrilled to see this happening. Sorry he is gone, but how touching it is to know he was indeed loved by so many.

Losing President Reagan is like losing a member of one's own family. Life would be much easier if there were more like him in the world today.

On the brighter side, can anyone think of a better lobbyist in heaven than the Great Communicator!?

I am confused. I thought the media said that Reagan was just a dumb warmonger actor who got lucky a few times, and that no one really liked him.

The liberal media just haven't a clue. They still don't believe how much President Reagan was loved by ordinary people.

The public patiently awaits one brief moment to honor a man who represented in his life all that is honorable in his devotion to his country and to freedom itself.

Fantastic pictures.

In her moment of grief, what a wonderful support this must be for Mrs Reagan. No, her husband certainly wasn't forgotten by us "ordinary" people.

It is just the libs and the media just never got it, not even now.

All I could think of today was the Gipper meeting up with Bob Hope. Wouldn't you love to see that?

I want to know what happened after Kerry had the unmitigated gaul to cut in front of thousands, to be the great hypocrite he is known to be??? Heard Rush warn him off... am suprised there wasn't a riot towards his presence.
