I hope it will help to give Nancy and the rest of the Reagan family some measure of comfort, in their time of grief, to know that president Reagan is so loved by the people of our nation

After being alone with him for ten years, out of the public spotlight, slowly, quietly watching him go down hill, I tend to feel that she may have thought that most American's just forgot and just went about their lives. This has got to make her feel extremely proud.

This is so great. It's a fitting tribute to a great man. Personally, I was surprised by the turn out too, considering this is lefty California.

Remember, the man was governor of California for two terms here. His supporters here are many and go *way* back.

I wonder how many people know that Reagan was governor of California. A lot of people bought into the the leftist tripe that he was just a movie actor.

She did an interview a few years back. She seemed VERY involved in his care. What do you do with yourself, after years of constant caretaking, when that person leaves? It isn't like raising a child, who gradually pulls away, and then leaves home. One day he was there, needing her, and the next, just gone.

God Bless her. I can't imagine where the strength comes from.

For ten long years, the country had been completely separated from him. All understood why this had to be.

Not only did America not forget him, the American people missed him all the more. We know the old saying, about when there's true love, absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Now that the people can finally be close to President Reagan again - if only to say goodbye - they have voted with their feet and their hearts. Nancy can know with no uncertaintly, how much everyone else love her Ronnie too.
