Back to the meringue...I noticed this in a recap on the CTV boards and don't know if we all knew this here...

Scott had told police he & Laci were watching Martha Stewart that morning and on the show they were cooking meringue. Police say the show on the 24th wasn't about cooking meringue, but the 23rd show was. Geragos plays a tape where the word meringue is said once on the 24th show. It's reportedly aired at 9:40 a.m.

If the word was only mentioned once at 9:40, how could Snott have heard it if he left at 9:30??

Aha! So the Dec. 24th "meringue mention" WAS after 9:30!

Now I'm confused. I thought the Dec 23rd meringue segment was at 9:40am???

Scott made good lasagna. That's usually the way a man "likes" to cook - they have a specialty dish, or will BBQ. He doesn't strike me as a man who cares diddley about meringue.

btw, was that program on baking meringue "pastry" shells? He should know whether it was shells or pie topping.
