She is an amazing woman. To have the emotional strength and desire to make a gesture like that at a time like this for her just shows how blessed we were to have her as a first lady.

To have the emotional strength and desire to make a gesture like that at a time like this...In my mind's eye, as I watched her turn around and wave, I saw her Ronnie standing there with her, holding her hand instead of the general. Even the voices of the TV announcers sounded awestruck and moved.
