UB355, I know condolences can be left at the website set up for the purpose. However, the library is keeping every last teddy bear, jar of jelly beans, note, sign, and so on that's been left by the public at the mortuary, along the road leading up to the library, and at the library itself. They are going to present it all to Mrs. Reagan in some form.

I thought a printout of this read would give people who can't make it to Simi Valley or DC a way to tangibly participate, because it will be delivered to the library to take its place among all the other things the general public has brought there.

Ooops, "I thought a printout of this read..." should be "thread."
