There will be a public Candlelight Memorial Service for President Ronald Reagan on Friday, June 11 in Roanoke, VA.
The service will be held at 8:00 PM at St. John's Episcopal Church, Corner of Elm Ave. and Jefferson, next to Community Hospital. . Speakers will include Mayor Ralph Smith and others. The public is invited.

The display features a picture of President Reagan, a vase of one each, red, white and blue Carnations, a register guest book and a bowl of jelly beans set up on a table draped in Black.
The display and books will be available for the public to sign through this Saturday, June 12th. The library hours are Mon, Tues, Thurs 9 am - 9 pm, Wed 10 - 6, Fri. 9 - 6 and Sat. 9 - 5.
They will then be forwarded to either Nancy Reagan or the Reagan Library.
The display was set up by a private citizen with permission from the City of Roanoke.
Nice to see the old hometown is honoring the Gipper. Hope the turnout is huge.
As it turns out, this will NOT be a candelight service...because of fire marshall rules....
Please come, however...we have a great list of speakers...
