The currently dominent, secular, EUphile factions are chummy with the Islamics. There is still a small but focussed remnent in France and the enemies of the West know this. Their strategy is to futher Islamize France and drive the remnent out. They do not want the possibility of Rightist or Pro Western backlash in France. Another goal is to further drive a wedge between the US and Europe. The idea of a united Western Civilization is not something our enemies care for.
