San Jose, CA. Dunno. And he's moved off.
To be a bit more accurate, he was hovering about two blocks away.
I bit too high to ID, hovering in place. I think news chopper. Missed the story on local TV, if any.

Helicopter crashes at Fort Stewart; 2 dead
6/23/2004, 10:10 a.m. ET
The Associated Press
RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (AP) An Army Apache helicopter crashed at Fort Stewart, killing two pilots, the Army said.
The helicopter went down in a wooded area Tuesday night, but the Army didn't immediately say what caused the crash.
The aircraft was assigned to the 3rd Infantry Division's 1st Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment based at Hunter Army Airfield, about 30 miles away from Fort Stewart.
The names of the soldiers killed in the crash were held until their families are notified. No one else was on board.
The Army Safety Center was sending a team to investigate.
I can only echo "bored at work." I've read your post FOUR times. SOBERING. Who ARE you?
