Quake hits town in southern Fars province of Iran
Shiraz, Fars prov, June 11, IRNA -- A mild earthquake measuring 3.5 degrees on the Richter scale rocked a suburb of the town of Qir, located southwest of Fars province, for the second time on Friday.
The seismological base of Tehran University's Geophysics Institute recorded the tremor at 11:34 hours local time.
There has been no report of any loss of life or damage to property.
Fars province is located south of Iran.
