Bosnian Serbs Admit For The First Time Srebrenica Massacre

11 June 2004 | 19:12 | AFP

Bosnian Serbs admitted for the first time on Friday that their forces had killed several thousand Muslims in the 1995 Srebrenica massacre, saying that the perpetrators had tried to cover up the worst atrocity in Europe since World War II. A report by a Bosnian Serb government commission said that it has "established that during the 10-19 July 1995 period several thousand Bosniaks (Muslims) were liquidated in a way which represents grave violations of international humanitarian law."

"The perpetrators undertook measures to cover up the crime by moving the bodies," from the place where the victims were killed to other locations, said the report, a copy of which was obtained by AFP.

Charges, claims, and admissions would be more credible if mass graves of thousands had ever been found there.

Hoplite and NYC Republican,

I'd normally keep you off this ping list but figured you'd like some vindication.

The first report found that they did not do such things in the way the west said they did - so they were told to change their report or aid gets cut.

A nod to you, Corrie. I admire an honorable opponent.

As to those with any doubt: the mass graves were found; I witness to this fact myself, for I have seen them, I have seen the dead extracted from them.

As to the usual suspects: you may now return to your alternate universe. I hope you enjoyed your stay in this one.

I'm hoping they'll use this as a method to get rid of the Communist elements that were responsible for this.

Once that is complete, the Serbs is Bosnia can continue their overdue quest for self-determination.

Andy Wilcoxson, who runs this site predicted this outcome months ago. He said Paddy Ashdown and others fired every Serb who claimed otherwise and handpicked anyone who say it was true.

The do not have the evidence: names and autopsies. The Bosnian Muslim army, much larger than the Serb forces, gathered and left before the Serbs arrived in Srebrenica. The acting commander (commander Naser Oric and the entire leadership (about 17 men) had left in April and never came back!) and the UN told the woman and children to head for the UN base at Potocari and the men elsewhere. Starting at 1:00 a.m. they Muslim men left in shifts. By the time the final group of thousands left several hours later, the Serbs still hadn't arrived, at least in that part of Srebrenica. The Muslims had to fight through much of Serb territory, but at least 5,000 of the army members made it to Tuzla and Muslim-controlled territory.

This commission was handpicked by Paddy Ashdown, with those who wouldn't agree being fired. Andy Wilcoxson said, a while back, that it was a guarantee they would "admit" to this. Before Ashdown and others made the commission puppets, the Serbs claimed otherwise - that most were killed in running battles and fighting through all the Serb-controlled territory and that the number was a mere fraction of the claim.

Yes, I agree. But our resident ice-cream eater had to stop by and flatulate out his dream of a universe where Spock has a beard. LOL!

You haven't given us a SINGLE name our autopsy reports. The men you saw are still the same UNIDENTIFIED ones, now even more years later. They had time to collect the DNA evidence years ago on those men, yet they still haven't matched anyone. Some of these have to be Serbs.

I haven't heard anyone say the massacre never happened. The largest complaints I heard were on the total number of dead ans how some of the dead were voting in later years.

Geez Andy, you must not have been listening to the accusations leveled by the ice-cream-eating, bearded Spock. He has said that we said so and you know that he must be correct, don't you? After all, he has "fought ancient religious hatreds, son, by direct action!"

Having his delusions validated by this stacked committee will probably induce some sort of extreme reaction from the bearded Spock.

Where these freaking cry babies were in the past ten freaking years as the Moslems government in Sudan systematically exterminated millions of Christians? Why is it so difficult to cry over dead innocent Christians, while the tears flow generously for the death of militant Islamic terrorists?

We must have people in our government who really hate the Christians and love the Moslems!
