Man, when they played "Going Home" on Friday from the hearse to the plane, that's when I lost it.

Have you ever gone to cyberhymnal.org and searched the hymns you love?

http://www.cyberhymnal.org/htm/f/a/faithoof.htm

FAITH OF OUR FATHERS

Faith of our fathers, living still,
In spite of dungeon, fire and sword;
O how our hearts beat high with joy
Whenever we hear that glorious Word!

Refrain
Faith of our fathers, holy faith!
We will be true to thee till death.

Faith of our fathers, we will strive
To win all nations unto Thee;
And through the truth that comes from God,
We all shall then be truly free.

Faith of our fathers, we will love
Both friend and foe in all our strife;
And preach Thee, too, as love knows how
By kindly words and virtuous life.

No problem...sorry if I came off as "curt". It is just that I like to support the musicians, and there is still massive "file-sharing" (piracy) still going on out there. No excuse for it now that we have 88 cents/song downloads from Wal-Mart, 99 cents from iTunes, etc. etc..

Take a look at this link for more Patriotic songs:

I've been to the CyberHymnal a number of times. It is great as far as it goes, but the midi-sound rendition of the hymns just makes me want to hear the real thing.

The arrangement of Goin' Home heard at President Reagan's funeral was done by the Air Force Band

You can hear it at

Dvorak is one of my favorite composers.

Hahahahaha....

Check out this thread I started last week.

The hymn I was asking about was "Jerusalem," but in the course of the thread I discovered "Mansions of the Lord," both of which I have WMVed on my company's website...look for the links in the thread...

There is a nice memorial website for Reagan at
http://www.ronaldreaganmemorial.com/photo_gallery.asp as the Mansions of the Lord and other music from We Were Soldiers plays as photos of the Reagan's funeral are shown and it is really nice.

And another great Reagan site is here:

It spent its first 70/80 years as the 5th symphony, bout 25 years ago more work was discovered and the numerology rearranged.
