The national organization, Move America Forward, is asking Americans who are offended by Michael Moore's "Bash America" movie to voice their opinions to movie industry executives.
We've compiled a list of email addresses and other contact information for the leading movie industry chains - as well for those theaters who have already announced their intention to show "Fahrenheit 9/11."
Please Note - We note Mr. Moore's constitutional right to free speech. What we also acknowledge that Mr. Moore and his backers seem uncomfortable with is that the millions of Americans who are offended by his lies, his attacks on our troops and our president have the right to speak up and say what we think about his "documentary" to the people who will profit from showing it.
Please read more about our efforts - this is the link - http://www.moveamericaforward.org/newsmax/
F911 makes left-wing american-hating morons want to burn their passports (thus keeping them out of America for good)...and this guy thinks that's a BAD thing?
Unfortunately the person did not burn there passport any more than the leftist Hollywood actors lived up to their promise to us to move to France if Bush were elected.
Best way to deal with this movie is simply not to go see it. Ignore it entirely. Any publicity will help Moore, not hurt him.
If we can't stop the theater from showing it, then let's buy tickets and throw toast at the screen.
Ping...........
Is there a list of chains/locations that have announced intentions on showing the (and I use the term loosely) film?
If they burn their passport, they can't leave either.
Oh, please. The movie accuses conservatives of attempting to exercise censorship over people who disagree with them. Any attempt to silence Moore will only give him more ammunition.
The best way to stop Michael Moore is to not view any of his movies.

Who cares about Moore, he just preaches to the chroir, some of my extremely liberal Bostonian friends think he is a jackass. Ray Bradbury said it best "he's a screwed asshole".
You know how to really upset the left. Act like you never heard of the movie. They want us upset. Tell them if it's such a steaming pile of manure ( like Moore ) as the last one, you don't care about it.
We need to adopt new tactics.
Don't stop Michael Moore's production...find ways to make it extremely EXPENSIVE.
There is a double-bonus in draining the coffers of evil.
FOR SURE!!!! These people THRIVE on any tidbit they can twist to meet their end.....and remember, freaks like the no-talent Moore get their kicks from the attention their deluded crap brings them. Hasn't anyone told Moore that almost ANYONE with a PC with a big HARD DRIVE and ALOT OF MEMORY and FILM EDITING SOFTWARE can make a movie nowadays? It just takes Moore's guts and ignorance to go around setting up people in deceptive interviews and editing the crap out of it and then calling it "true."
I don't think this campaign - STOP Michael Moore - is about censoring anything, but it is about halting a free political campaign event that unfortunately has no possibility of balance. It is a documentary" of dubious value filled with hate-filled innuendoes and lies about Dubya and conservatives.
For this reason I am supporting this campaign to stop its showing in as many theaters as possible.
Sorry - I do not subscribe to the belief that conservatives remaining silent is the key to political victory.
Michael Moore already had 24/7 news coverage for his 'big win' at Cannes.
Between now and June 25th he will have oodles of free media coverage. Think they won't cover him if conservatives stay silent?
The choice we conservatives face is this: do we try to make our voices heard in this debate or not?
And most importantly - do we let Michael Moore control debate with his own voice and with it lies and distortions and anti-military rants? Or do we make OUR VOICES heard to the corporate executives at movie chains who are right now pondering whether they can make a profit from joining in the anti-American propaganda of Moore and his 'documentary.'
I respect your view - we've discussed it here at the offices of Move America Forward a number of times. But silent voices are never heard. And Moore already has guaranteed unlimited free press for the film.
Sorry... you had to click the button on the page I posted (I posted that link and not the one below because it has all the offensive quotes from Moore).
Read my post above.
We see this totally different.
I am exercising MY right to free speech just as Michael Moore is.
You are choosing to exercise your right not to speak. I've no problems with that. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some talking to movie theater owners to do. Thanks! :)
"Best way to deal with this movie is simply not to go see it. Ignore it entirely. Any publicity will help Moore, not hurt him."
Bump. Anything else is supporting Moore.
Moore will make plenty of money off of this and likely set another record for highest grossing documentary thanks to what will be the next two weeks of unlimited free press from the liberal news media and the gucci entertainment press.
Care to make a friendly FReeper wager on how much the film will gross? It will top Bowling for Columbine with the media it's already gotten. Profit from America-bashing. Disgusting. (MMoore, not you).
Let me know about the friendly FReeper wager!
Don't go see it; carry a big magnet in your pocket when you pass videotape copies of it...

I prefer to adopt the approach of a free-market economy and tell those who own the movie theaters that as a consumer I don't want them profitting from anti-Americanism.
Can you imagine if this had been a piece going after John Kerry. The FEC would have put it under McCain-Feingold and said it was a political ad and subject to campaign finance limitations.
Exactly right. He's gonna get his publicity from the left anyway. And the theaters that are gonna carry it are doing so because they agree with him. The only thing conservative noise will accomplish is to give him yet more publicity. Stay quiet, let the statistically miniscule number of leftists go see it, and let that be that. Silence in this instance is not capitulation, but smart strategy.

If the media were fair and unbiased then I would follow your advice.
But they are not, and Moore will get all the free publicity he wants. The question is whether the only voice in this 'national debate' will be Moore and his followers.
I'm sorry, but while you may choose to be silent, I do not. It's the perfect "balance" to Moore's right of free speech.
The hairy hand of the Clintons is all over the Michael Moore movie. Clinton/Gore hangmen, Kahane and Fabiani, have been hired by MiraMax to perform "war room" duties and attack anyone who criticizes Moore or the movie. It's also interesting to note that Moore's agent is Rahm Immanuel's brother.
Aaaah, breaking the law would make me no better than Moore. I prefer to counter Moore's 'free speech' with the speech of myself and millions of other Americans.

Moronic.
It's free speech.
If you don't like it, don't see it or rent it.
If only that were the case. Unfortunately it takes someone as extraordinary as Reagan to overcome the rant of "the world is over" from Moore and his ilk.
If you don't believe me then read this:
More on this later.

Thanks - and no need for the "moronic" part. You can disagree and still be agreeable about it.
Oh - and there are already documented inaccuracies with Fahrenheit 9/11 as well.
"It's the perfect "balance" to Moore's right of free speech."
And the perfect support for the publicity he needs to sell his screed.
Already addressed your concern in my other posts. But thanks for speaking your mind!
Did you guys not see the Oscar's coverage? The Cannes film festival?
The question is not whether Moore's voice will be heard. The question is whether a contrarian voice of his will be heard.
OK, my apologies.
Remember, any publicity is good publicity.
There are some people one this thread who were probably singing a different tune when they heard of campaigns to prevent "Passion" from being shown in theaters.
Let Moore have his speech, and either ignore it or tell the world why he is wrong. But don't try to censor him just because you don't like him.
Me, I'll refrain from judging the movie until I've seen it myself.
Knock yourself out. I don't share your viewpoint.
Oh, GAWWWWD...I winced when I saw that name. Of all the Clintonoids who dissembled throughout Whitewater, the ChiCom missiles scandal, the Buddhist temple fundraiser, and the admission of his being attached for minutes at a time to Monica Lewinsky, Rahm Immanuel was the one that made me most wanna put my fist through the screen in the hopes that he could somehow feel it. The only other guy who gives me that feeling nowadays is another Clinton scandal veteran, Chuck Schumer.
I'D SUGGEST NOT GIVING THE FAT PATHETIC SOW MORE PIBLICITY THAN HE NEEDS. E.G. - AVOID HIGH PROFILE PROTEST IN FRONT OF THEATERS A LETTER WRITING CAMPAIGN WOULD BE BETTER.
I think of him as a mosquito bite: leave him alone and he'll go away in time. Scratch him and he might get infected.
No problem with trying to point out all of his lies (though what one human could ever enumerate them all?), but trying to silence him is counterproductive, in my view.
I have a liberal friend who always sends me links to Yahoo!-linked articles (AP stories, etc.) - most of which are intensely biased against Bush, and conservatism in general.
So, I think you should pay more attention to the overwhelming tribute being given to Reagan, and less to polls on Yahoo!, when it comes to trying to determine just what message most Americans really believe and support.
