"I'm a Democrat and I like Clinton...But Ronald Reagan lives in the hearts and minds of people in a way, frankly, that Clinton doesn't." Enough said.

Publicity for "My Life" was expected to shift into high gear next week, with Mr. Clinton set to tout his memoirs on high-profile venues like CBS's "60 Minutes," "Oprah Winfrey," NBC's "Today Show" and ABC's "Good Morning America." People actually watch these programs?
I havent watched any of these programs in years.
Not since I figured out how totally biased they are and FOX News became available.
I suppose people with out access to FNN who still wish to watch TV may be forced to watch these programs from time to time.

"Clinton's last book - a 1996 tome titled "Between Hope and History" - was a huge commercial flop."
Maybe he should write another one: "Between the sheets" and put it on the Porn sites.

I'm telling you guys Clinton's book is going to help us. It's going to be packed with so many lies and twists of the truth that will be easily dispelled. It will remind people, ESPECIALLY after this week's Reagan tributes, how dishonest Democrats are. Wait and see.

Clinton's publicists have also been forced to compete with Reagan on the literary front, with demand for books about the 40th president said to be running at all time highs. Gee .. could this be why Clinton pretended to fall asleep at the funeral yesterday??
To get a reaction and get folks to start talking about him again?

Clinton's last book - a 1996 tome titled "Between Hope and History" - was a huge commercial flop.
Knowing the Clintons, it must have been some sort of thinly-disguised bribe.

This is funny. Looks to me like Our Lord had a hand in putting these scums on a back burner.
The Lord took RR in His timing. Can't blame any earthly person for this one. Tehehehe!!!!

"The timing of Reagan's death may turn out to be even worse news for Sen. John Kerry" Maybe Ronnie thought that there was yet another wall to tear down and one more victory that we needed to win. It wouldn't surprise me at all to learn that he and God had the timing all worked out and I think they're both smiling.

"I'm a Democrat and I like Clinton," Laurence J. Kirshbaum, chairman of the Time Warner Book Group, told the Associated Press a day after Reagan's death. "But Ronald Reagan lives in the hearts and minds of people in a way, frankly, that Clinton doesn't." We're not going to see such an outpouring of grief over Clinton's death, that's for sure. Part of the reason is obvious, and part of it is that even if you like him, and think he did good with the economy, it's not the kind of accomplishment that people fondly remember presidents for 20 years from now.

the only hype for the former predator in chief's book will be at cbsnbcabccnn and of course N.P.R.

Ronald Reagan will outsell Bubba in the bookstores and I don't think the latter's bio will get a fraction of the sales. If you're great, you don't need to draw attention to yourself. It will be obvious to people.

I think Raegan is chuckling at this in heaven. Clinton and Reagan are diametrically opposed in everything. Leave it to Reagan to have his parting be now - Bush Jr. as President to give a eulogy and now to draw attention away from the 8 years of trash courtesy of the Clinton's. Their legacy couldn't be more opposite.

The old blowhard, Dan Rather, smuggly sneers that he thought that the coverage for President Ronald Reagan this week "has been overkill".
I wonder if he will be saying the same about the media hyping another edition of Clinton's literary tribute to himself?
Side by side, Reagan and Clinton, it's not so hard to see who stands among giants and who just stands.
