No Bob, they are not making a "little money." These tribes are making millions by NOT having to obey the laws that other Washington businesses are saddled with. I do not begrudge Indians $ for gambling - IF other businesses are allowed the same. But other businesses are not allowed to do as the Indians do. That is a two-class system and will tear down the country. Remember the Bible, A house divided cannot stand. Two systems, as in Canada, are bringing them down, not making them stronger. Unfair is unfair. A new unfairness cannot "make up" for a previous/historical unfairness. It only sets the stage for conflict. IMHO

Your words. Was it fair to to confiscate their lands,destroy their culture and at one time the US Government paid bounties for murdering Indians. What does the Bible say about that? Also the sovereignty of Indian lands was agreed by Congress and treaty, so now you wish to dissolve that? There are many more divisive projects going on in the US now that are far more serious and costly. But the Indians make a pretty good target to some.

We established these sovereign nations as part of our treaties with these people. It would be wrong to reneg on yet another agreement.

There is a giant arrowhead in Old Fort, NC. It was erected to commemorate a treaty. It marked the western-most point that white men would settle on the continent.

But your post is complaining that the Indian businesses aren't being saddled with the same ornerous government restrictions and burdens that other businesses are. I think we should be (a)glad that someone is getting a bit of a fair break and (b) fighting these restrictions for everyone. I think if we forced the government to adhere to the Constitution, 75%-80% of the laws and regulations on the books would be summarily tossed out.
