"Controversial film-maker Michael Moore" There is not much controversial in attacking safe targets. If this guy wanted to be mildly controversial he could attack liberal culture. If he wanted to be cutting edge controversial, he would attack islamic culture. He looks too gluttonous to be beheadingly controversial.

In Britian, the libel laws are totally different - and stronger. You lie in a "documentary" there, you get in trouble. The liberal laws here make Bush an easy target for someone like Moore.

Moore wouldn't dare do an hatchet job on Tony Blair for a very simple reason. British libel law is *very* strict and he would be excorciated in the British courts if he followed his usual style of playing fast and loose with the truth. The judgement would transform Moore from a fat, rich slob into a fat, poor slob.
