I have an argument with this. There are far too many modifiers in this sentence. The sentence should read "It was hard for the Islamic fascists to find ideological suppoirt in the West given their agenda of primordial barbarism."

We have known about Islam for many centuries. We'll all be better off when we allow ourselves to recognize that and act accordingly.

I was about to post this one. This is the latest Victor Davis Hansen article on the war. Double-posted at FR already but the other one is excerpted and the full article is here.

He, once again, articulates the overt and less obvious nuances of the direction of America's and the West's war against Islamic terrorism. A must read.

Excellent article. I just sent a letter to the WH regarding the latest kidnapping. We've got to start responding and making the Muslim terrorists - and, unforunately, the ignorant populations that support them - realize that this is no longer permissible.

They're kidnapping and killing Americans in the Middle East now. Having gotten away with it for several years, soon they'll be kidnapping and killing us in Europe, as well. Unless we respond, they will achieve their goal of making the world unsafe for Americans. (Or for non-Muslims, ultimately.)
