I went into my local Barnes and Noble a couple of weeks ago and was taken aback by the sheer volume of "Bash-Bush" books that were in my face when I walked in the door. I walked through the swill and turned back toward the door when I was approached by a young man who asked me if I needed help.

I told him, "Judging by the books on display, it looks to me like you people hate the President."

He said, "That's the manager. She does that because she doesn't like him."

I said, "Tell her I went to Border's to buy a bunch of books and I won't be back."

I did and I won't.

Um, $35 at 30% off less another 10% is not the same as a straight 40% off.
