And, after the "negative economic" news from the Today program, I saw they were going to have that very little guy Micky Moore on. I just turned it off.

And I'm ripped when I mention anything to do with Imus on MSNBC. At least "Imus in the Morning" is adult programming. You deserve a medal for watching any of the morning alphabet shows. It's above and beyond the call.

BTW, if I may, Imus just asked George Stephanopoulos who he will have on his program Sunday. George said he is trying to get Michael Moore.

First, it was the "worst economy since Hoover", then when it became apparent the economy was surging, the mantra became "jobless recovery", now that job growth has exploded, they attempt to impune the quality of jobs.
There simply is no way that the economy could be performing as it is without a corresponding increase in promotions, wage increases, etc. Granted some people will have to change jobs to take full advantage of the increased economic activity, but the competition for labor cannot fail to have a beneficial effect on everyone who CHOSES to take advantage of it.

I watched it... just amazing. "Yes, the numbers say the economy is booming at a record pace...
but we are nowhere closer to achieving nirvana and perfect contentment, as these cranky young morons will attest."And then they follow with Michael Moore! Had to switch to Sportscenter at that point.

cranky young morons LOL - you nailed it! Could anyone be more annoying than that "edgy" young woman moaning about "the depression"?

I was flipping through the channels this morning and also caught this report. I am detecting a pattern in the MSM. They can no longer attack Bush on a bad economy so it is rising interest rates and prices.
It is interesting that they mentioned two items that have been rising higher than the rate of inflation for years, healthcare and tutition. This is not news.
There were no facts in this story. If you take out energy and food in the CPI number yesterday it is at .02%
This is what we are up against. Lies and false facts. I realize it is nothing new, but it seems more brazen these days.

I know I can't watch Today. It's totally beyond my capacity. Hell, I can't even stomach Imus.

Not one of his better shows thia AM. He's been promoting a Jack Nicholson (Larry Kenny) essay on Bill Clinton's new book and his appearance on CBS this Sunday. I'm hoping it will be on next half hour. Imus very seldom promotes Kenny's or McCord's stuff. It better be good.

Did you happen to catch MSNBC's newest military analyst William Arkin this morning. At first I thought this guy seems a little to the left. By the end of interview it was hilarious.
Imus's last question, "Would you like an autographed copy of Bill Clinton's new book?". Oh I'd love one replied Mr. Arkin. Fair and Balanced, I don't think so.
They may replay this at 8:30 AM EST.
