He lost a couple of relatives in the Holocaust. One poor fella fell from a guard tower...

That's the umpteen time I've read that 'Franken' style punch line, and it wasn't funny the first time. It's indicative of how, to the core rotten, Pat bashers are.

Actually, to the vast majority who clearly see Pat Buchanan for what he is, it is a very funny joke, and is so because of its spot-on aim.

Supermarks, however, are so blinded by their adoration for their Hero that they cannot see the humor.

Oh, boo hoo. Here are a pair of (regrettably) illustrative quotes, damningly indicative of how "rotten to the core" Buchanan is, himself.

1.) Pat Buchanan referred to Capitol Hill as "Israeli-occupied territory." (St. Louis Post Dispatch, 10/20/90)

2.) Writing of "group fantasies of martyrdom," Pat Buchanan challenged the historical record that thousands of Jews were gassed to death by diesel exhaust at Treblinka: "Diesel engines do not emit enough carbon monoxide to kill anybody." (New Republic, 10/22/90)

Highly Relevant Side Note: Buchanan's columns have run in the German-American National PAC newsletter, among other publications openly advancing the anti-Semitic claim that Nazi death camps are "a Zionist concoction."

Not "funny." Just (sadly) true.
