Here is a timeline of the activities of the four hijacked airliners on Sept. 11, 2001, as provided by the commission investigating the events:

8 a.m.

American Airlines Flight 11, a Boeing 767 carrying 81 passengers and 11 crew bound for Los Angeles, begins takeoff procedures at Logan Airport in Boston. It is monitored by the Federal Aviation Administration's Boston Center, located in New Hampshire.

8:13 a.m.

9/11/02 The nation forgets

9/11/03 Democrats attack Bush as a war monger and almost as guilty as if he flew the planes himself

9/11/04 Prediction: Even mentioning 9/11 becomes very un PC

9:23 am: John Kerry runs from his office to a waiting Limosine in record time, screaming for the driver to "get me to safety, and order up another Purple Heart for me."

From 8:46 to 10:17 we went from a country that negotiates with hijackers to a nation where passengers will storm the cockpit against hopeless odds rather than allow their aircraft to be used as an instrument of destruction.

6/17/2004 - 9/11 Commission spends more time grilling military leaders about why the planes weren't shot down than the actual time between FLT 11 hitting the North Tower and FLT 93 crashing in PA.
