Very few have. Very few.

I first discovered the extent of the problem at a U.S. vs. Mexico soccer game at the L.A. Coliseum in '98. There were around 100,000 fans, the vast majority of them rooting for Mexico. (The crowd was basically a sea of Mexican flags). The American national anthem was booed mercilessly, and "urine bombs" were tossed not only at the players on the U.S. team but at the few fans in attendance who had the nerve to actually openly root for the home team. .....the U.S. team.

A sad scene, to put it mildly.
