Of course he's supportive.

He knows full well that his Justice Department received a federal indictment against OBL which cited the terrorist's ties with Iraq.

Is this the quid pro quo for Bush's nice words about him at the portrait unveiling?

You are kidding right?

Somewhere, a month or so ago, Clinton said the same thing re Iraq. It's not new.

It's the only thing he can say with any credibility given his past comments about Iraq and WMD. Not that credibility ever worried Clinton.

Yeah, but for him to still be saying the same thing on any topic a month after the fact is somewhat surprising, let alone for the 60 Minutes cameras.

There was an article in Newsweak written by Clinton related to President Reagan after his passing.

I found the following passage by Clinton within that article to be simply stunning.......

There are some common traits between the incumbent President Bush and President Reagan. I think 43 states his positions, as President Reagan did, and he doesn't stick his finger up in the wind to see which way it's blowing................... ...............The president's view of promoting democracy around the world is very much in keeping with Ronald Reagan's view. They react the same way. Though I believe this president's problems in terms of war and peace are more complicated than the ones President Reagan faced, the common ground between 43 and 40, if you will, would be a willingness to get out front, to say, "This is what we're going to do," and then going about doing it. That's what great leaders have to do.

Billy knows that the only thing standing between him, and 8 more years of getting blow jobs in the Oval Office is John Kerry.., He'll undermine him whenever he can.

That's the only logical explanation for his out-of-the-blue fawning over Bush in what was advertised as being a memoriam for Reagan.

The 'toon saw an opportunity, and like Lewinsky, he took it because he could.

I was first made aware of the Newsweak article via this FR thread titled Bill Clinton writes in remembrance of Reagan (Newsweek).

The article was excerpted and I went to the linked source and failed to realize that it was a culmination of miscellaneous quotes made by different individulas.

I really am an idiot.

I wonder why Rather didn't ask Clinton to discuss and explain in detail, his numerous meetings in the White House with Communist Chinese agents, Johnny Chung, Charlie Trie, John Huang.

Not only that, but, the "couple from down under" know that positioning themselves in support of this strengthens their position with the sheeple.

  1. He's trapped by his own statements. If he tried to disavow WMD or Iraq & terrorism he'd be hoisted on his own petard.
  2. He needs Kerry to lose. By supporting the President on Iraq, he's doing just that.

That's a shame
