I gotta ask the obvious question..what are the odds the guy's still around when they come to deport him> IN OTHER WORDS, WHY DIDN'T THEY CONFINE HIM PENDING DEPORTATION?

Because:

1. No fair! That would be treating him like a criminal. We don't treat criminals like criminals.

2. They don't have the space.

AMEN!!! What were the judge and prosecutor thinking??????
Any bets about whether the guy shows back up for his sentencing? I wouldn't risk a nickel.
