Vice Chairman of the 9/11 Commission Lee Hamilton blasted the mainstream press yesterday for distorting the Commission's findings on links between Iraq and al Qaida before the Sept. 11 attacks, saying those findings actually support Bush administration contentions."The sharp differences that the press has drawn [between the White House and the Commission] are not that apparent to me," Hamilton told the Associated Press, a day after insisting that his probe uncovered "all kinds" of connections between Osama bin Laden's terror network and Iraq.

well, Bush has a big hill o'cash and four months to straighten out the public regarding this story. Problem is - he will have to do this for lie after lie after lie that comprises a DNC/Media campaign. Kerry may as well take a vacation until election day with press dishonesty that were likely to see and have seen with this subterfuge.

Exactly - The media will get away with saying that there was no link and that will be that and the public will believe them.

Apparently Hamilton needs to get out there on the talk shows and talk to the media (but I doubt he will). Newsmax is not exactly mainstream - even DRUDGE won't pick up their stories.

That big hill of cash pales in comparison to the free propaganda that the media gives to Kerry. Free airtime on TV alone could amount to billions of dollars.

I posted the story in a local liberal group (Ann Arbor) The only response was the sound of crickets.....till the posting was removed.
You are right. I was going to say exactly the same thing. The damage has been done and nothing will reverse it.
He's from the "old school" and I think he's been pretty honest and fair throughout the proceedings.
If he has to answer every lie told, that would be a full time job and he does not have the time.
