EXETER, ME Today, Maine Farm Families for Bush-Cheney 04 State Chair Walt Whitcomb, state Sen. Betty Lou Mitchell, state Rep. Jeff Tardy and local farmers gathered to announce the Central Maine leadership members of the statewide Bush-Cheney 04 farming coalition.
Maine farmers work hard day in and day out to earn a living, and they know President Bush is working hard to support our industry and our way of life, Whitcomb said. President Bushs strong record and steady leadership is rallying farmers across the state who are eager to support President Bush and work together for his re-election this November.
Farm Families for Bush-Cheney 04 is a broad network of Maine farmers working to communicate the Presidents leadership on farming and agricultural issues in the state. Todays announcement of the Central Maine Farm Families for Bush-Cheney 04 leadership team is the second in a series of regional leadership announcements. Maine Bush-Cheney 04 Chairman Peter Cianchette announced the Southern Maine regional leadership on May 3, 2004 in North Berwick, Maine.
