From my reading of the Bible, an accomplice to murder by the name of Saul had an encounter with God that changed him utterly. He took on the name Paul and spread the Gospel throughout the world.
That said, I wouldn't be particularly opposed to SOS being executed tomorrow for what he did....
You may be right. If he has found God, the better for him.
Actually, Saul and Paul are the same name. One is in Hebrew, the other in Greek.
Saul/Paul never changed his name.
