At some point the US will refuse to intervene in Europe's murderous squabbles. Or else we'll come to the point where we'll use some kind of gas that turns combatants into peaceloving nerds.

The only issue will be a strategy to obtain anything we need from the region in terms of commerce. Whether we are dealing with socialists, muslims, communists or any others will be inconsequential.
